Posted by John Grothier - Xbox,GameCube,PlayStation 2,Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe Electronic Arts epic role-playing title is due for release on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, Game Cube this November, as well as a special Game Boy Advance version for RPG on the move. This epic role-playing game is based on Peter Jackson's film adaptations of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Lord of the Rings. The game will feature all the locations and characters from the movies, as players battle on the side of the Fellowship, but can unlock additional encounters where they fight on the side of Sauron as they progress. The Lord the Rings The Third Age, is being developed by EA's Redwood Shores studio, the same studio that developed The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King game. The Game Boy Advance version is being developed by Amaze Entertainment. More news as we get it.
