See The Urbz
Electronic Arts have released some new screens showing off The Urbz: Sims in the City in action.
Posted by John Grothier - Xbox,PlayStation 2,GameCube,Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe

This November will see the Sims moving to the City, where action is 24/7 and reputation means everything. Sims who live in the City are known as Urbz, and they have a bold new look and attitude. Due for release on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, GameCube and Game Boy Advance, this outing for the Sims will see them going to work, and be challenged by bosses at locations like the Sushi Bar, Chop Shop, or Bootleg Fireworks, Inc. Success at work brings promotions, access to new power socials and gear to influence your new lifestyle.

The idea behind this new Sims tiltle is to build your reputation within the world, outside your hood, and through characters you'll hang with. Your goal is to be the biggest player in the city with ultimate access to the hottest places and people. The Urbz: Sims in the City will feature an all-new character engine that turns your Urbz into hip city dwellers.

Gamers will be able to take their Urbz out on the town to swanky new hot spots like the Sushi Bar, VIP Club, or even out to get a tattoo at the Tattoo Parlor. Players will now control your Urbz 24/7 in the city that never sleeps. You directly control your Urbz on the job to make sushi or strip down motorcycles all this to earn Simoleans and gain access to new social interactions with your fellow Sims.

Music in the game the game will include exclusive versions of nine tracks from the upcoming Black Eyed Peas' album 'Monkey Business' due out in autumn. These songs are being recorded specifically for the PlayStation 2, Xbox and the GameCube versions of the game. Also Electronic Arts have also announced a special version of the game for Nintendo's upcoming DS.

We will bring you more on The Urbz: Sims in the City soon.
