The sun never set on the Roma Empire, now the Worlds of Rome are facing a grave new threat.

There are many paths a universe can take, some are so similar only a single leaf on a single tree is the sole difference. Others are so vastly unalike that they are unviable for life as we know it. Imperator follows one path that is recognisable and yet unnervingly not ours. It is a cosmos where Rome never fell and the Empire it spawned now spans solar systems, bringing many planets into the benevolent savagery of the Pax Romana.

Now there is turmoil, an outside force now threatens the peace of Rome, battles are to be fought, glory to be gained in this newly dangerous galaxy. Universus Defensor!

Imperator is Mythic Entertainment's second title and is a Massive Multiplayer Online Game that give us a glimpse of a 'What if?'. Now the first five screens have been released, showing the majestic architecture of ancient Rome blended with the latest in inter-system travel.
