5th October 2004:
Let's ninj again...
...like we did last summer, like we did all year. As Sega grasps hold of the Fatal Shadows.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

It has to be said, there is something about Ninja's. The mystique that surrounds them, that they are claimed to not exist and the fact that you get to hack around with a katana. Ninja's have a lot going for them.

Which is presumably why Tenchu: Fatal Shadows has been grabbed by Sega of Europe.

Set once more in historical Japan we see the familiar face of Ayame and the new comer Rin, both of whom will take part in frenetic melee, balanced out by the hallmark elements of stealth and guile. Which is one area that it is claimed has been worked on, to allow for a true stealth system, one that does not rely on trial and error as you move through the levels.

Balanced for the veteran and the complete newbie to the art of stealth, Tenchu: FS also holds upgraded visual elements, more moves to dismember your enemies then hide them from discovery. Next year, will be the year of the Ninja.

Due out next Spring.
