Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox,PlayStation 2,PC - UK and Europe THQ are the proud new owners of one of the most looked forward to racing games in a while. Within the last few days the US bankruptcy judge tasked with following through Acclaim's Chapter 7 bankruptcy has announced that THQ had the winning bid for Juiced. Juiced as we have covered before is one of the next generation of racing games set to hit the shelves, originally this Autumn but now, after the announcement it is expected some point in the Summer next year. This should allow for a further level of polishing of a title that has already piqued industry interest with it's visuals and gameplay. "We are very excited to have secured the rights to this strategic, highly sought after intellectual property," said Jack Sorensen, executive vice president of worldwide studios, THQ. "The team is off to a great start and now has the time to build `Juiced' into one of the premier brands in street racing." Va, va voom!
