21st October 2004:
Porta potting
April is still six months away, a long time for snooker fans and whispering Ted Lowe.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2,GameCube,Xbox,PC - UK and Europe

Don't the screenshots look good? I know they are a little small but they are perfectly formed. Below are three of the first ever views of a game in development, that will be seen on the brand spanking new PlayStation Portable.

Whilst World Snooker Championship 2005 will also be released on the current crop of consoles, it is the simple fact that it is on the PSP that will have quite a few people looking forwards to seeing what Sony's new baby will be capable of.

The game itself is fully licensed and will have all the familiar visages of the players to watch as they thump in break after break. Not to mention the names and the venue itself. Needless Sega who have snapped up the rights are pleased with having done so.

Due out on all formats next April.
