Now that Half-Life 2 has finally gained a rock solid release date Activision have finally set a date for the HL2 powered first person RPG Action Adventure - Vampire the Masquerade - Bloodlines.

Based on the phenomenally successful tabletop Role-Playing Game, VtM-B follows your efforts to climb the ranks of bloodsuckers and make it to top Lick in the seriously great place called Los Angeles.

You can choose to be from seven clans, each cursed with awesome powers that defy the rational mind. The recreation of LA is fully explore able, with an open ended non-linear world, punctuated by intense action sequences as you serve the Prince of LA.

In addition there is opportunity to take on others over the net in both FPS and RPG styles, using the full capability of the Valve Source 2 engines to integrate seamlessly from scene to scene. With a soundtrack that includes Ministry, Genitorturers and Daniel Ash, atmosphere is expected to be heavy with double dealing, treachery and the most vicious game on Earth. The Politics of the Damned.

Due out in the US November 16^th and over here shortly afterwards.
