Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Sony must be really happy as the first of two racing titles emerge from the Codemasters. Colin McRae Rally 2005 is the first of those two big name titles to emerge with attached screenshots. Screens that look damn, damn good, good and if you did not know were from the PS2's kid brother you would say that they were from the elder Sony platform. Included in the bundle are a whole deluge of new features, thirty rally cars to choose from, a bundle of cups and championships to pit your skills against - creating a whole new world of rallying in your pocket. There are more modes, such as 4x4 racing, wireless gameplay and a nifty little feature that automatically updates the game as to where you were and what you were doing, no need for a save point, so freeing the player to enjoy five minutes or five hours to suit the mood and circumstances. Expected out of the time gate next Spring.
