New Worms screens
We have a few new screenshots of Team 17's Worms Forts Under Siege, ahead of its UK release this Friday.

This Friday will see the release of the next instalment in Team 17's Worms franchise. In Worms Forts Under Siege, due for release this Friday on the PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC, players will get the chance to pit castle against castle, worm against worm, and catapult against cannon. With destruction and mayhem the likes of which have never been seen in a Worms game, step up and experience the dawning of a new age.

Players command up to four fort-dwelling worms, you direct your garrison to quickly construct defenses then build weapons of mass destruction to destroy your opponents' fortifications. Gamers will have to use a touch of skill, catapult or canon and some crazy Worms attitude, to battle their way to victory through eras and mythologies

This new Worms title features a new gameplay style, where players can build huge fortifications to defend against your opponent's attack. Attack on a scale never before seen in a Worms game, with up to 30 different weapons with multiple upgrades. Travel through ancient mythologies and experience unique Worm style Egyptian tribes, Greco-Roman sieges, Oriental Samurai and King Arthur's Medieval Knights.
