After its success on the PS2, Atari are now hoping that they can repeat it on the GameCube as they gear up for the release of Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2.

DBZ:B2 allows you to take part in an open ended recreation essentially of the whole series as you battle through fell foes and even some people you consider friends. With original Japanese voices and a sophisticated combat engine, driving the heart of the gameplay along. In it you can take part in the World Tournament Cell Game Rule or gain a World Mightiest Warrior Certificate along the way to gaining the balls that everyone is looking for.

"The DBZ: Budokai series has become one of the world's best-selling fighting game franchises of all time through its ability to constantly improve upon its previous incarnations and challenge its competitors head on", remarked Martin Spiess, Senior Vice President of Marketing, Atari Europe. "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 2 was extremely successful on the Playstation2 and we have upped the ante by producing an even better version for the GameCube with additional character costumes, unlockable stages, two extra levels of difficulty and even more skills added, making this a thrilling and challenging fighting game."

Due out next March for the GameCube.
