8th December 2004:
In the here after
Beyond the Aftermath the Aftershock is felt as one ending is explored to become a new beginning.
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

In the beginning there was X-Com, one of the most well received turn based strategy game in the last fifteen years. Blending plot, resource management and damn good gameplay together to provide a satisfying feeling not really capture din any of the sequels.

Then last year the UFO: Aftermath proved to be the spiritual successor and gave people a taste of what Alien Invasion in the twenty-first century could be like.

Now the latest title, UFO: Aftershock is here to see if the Kasbah can once again be rocked. With a plotline that follows on from just one of the endings of its predecessor, Aftershock takes you into new territory as you scour the Earth in order to discover what has happened. Once more you control a squad and have to build experience and new technologies to fight against the new threats that have emerged - or re-emerged to stalk the Earth.

Due out Autumn 2005.
