Stolen is best described as a third person, stealth-based, action title, which features a high-tech female thief. Due for release on the Xbox, PlayStation 2 and PC in March, Stolen promises some truly amazing technical and presentational features to give it a spectacular look that will captivate gamers. The game is being developed by Blue 52, who have been working on the project for over two and a hlaf years now, and their title will feature high quality rendering technology, including advance shadowing and lighting techniques, character animations and plenty of high-tech gadgets and weaponry.
"Blue 52 has impressed us not only by its amazing technology but also by its ambition and talent in reinventing the genre", said Hip Interactive's Graeme Boxall. "It is so rare these days to see a game that appeals to you immediately, well we have found it."
Stolen will feature a unique subject matter, as gamers play the role of a Hollywood-style thief with a host of athletic and martial abilities and break into and out of movie-like locations and steal priceless items. Players will have use the realtime volumetric shadow technology to hide from enemies while employing the latest in hi-tech gadgets, tools and weapons to reach objectives.
