7th January 2005:
Full Spectrum PS
Anything the Xbox has exclusive the PS2 will get later as the tactical shooter revs up for deployment.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

One of the slickest games of last year was undoubtedly Full Spectrum Warrior for the Xbox. With a realistic series of scenarios confronting you as you try to keep your two squads of soldiers alive through an operation that went very, very wrong, FSW showed its roots as a training tool for the US Army.

Now publisher THQ have released some of the very first shots of the forthcoming PS2 version of the title and they do look pretty darn good job of letting those who own only Sony's console to feel the pressures and fog of war. With what has been claimed to be the most sophisticated AI available, both to your team an to the enemy, as you strive to outthink, out flank and break out against your foes. With thirteen missions, to complete, replete with intense action there is a lot here for the gamer who enjoys a little bit more than a simple point and shoot exercise.

Due out in the next couple of months.
