CDV releases new Project Nomads screens

Project Nomads is a very ambitious title from CDV that hopes to combine action, strategy and role-playing features into a single game. The whole thing takes place on islands in the sky, and you take on a humanoid-like being who has the ability to fly freely throughout the game world. The aim of the game is to build up an island of your own and fortify it against attacks from other beings, but unlike most strategy games where you simply sit back and watch the battles take place, in Nomads you will be able to control your own gun-turrets and vehicles, and improve (or worsen) your island's chances of survival.

We haven't heard many details on Nomads since it won Best in Show award at ECTS last year, but as the game's release date draws closer we expect to hear much more about it. In the meantime, check out these new screenshots, fresh from CDV.
