Posted by John Grothier - - UK and Europe 650,000 Nintendo DS units and over 2.5 million pieces of software destined for Europe have now rolled off the production line ready for distribution. In just 10 days time these will be in over 30,000 stores across Europe, ready for the launch day on 11th March 2005. A brand new production line was installed especially for Nintendo DS and can produce 144,000 units of software a day. This is where the journey begins, and with over 100 lorries transporting them to over 20 countries across Europe, they will reach our store shelves ready for the eagerly anticipated launch day.
