Join the Reunion.
The return is no more all that remains of the X factor is the Reunion.

It has been announced that sadly one of the most anticpated expansions of the year has been cancelled. X²: The Return is no more. Fear not, it has been dropped to make way for X³: Reunion the next true installment in the saga.

Devloped by a separte team in prallel to Return, Reunion will use the concepts and ideas of many of the X community as well as the designers to bring to life a living and breathing universe to explore. Utilising the full extent of DIRECT X9 to power the visul effects and a superbly retooled and uprates AI to motivate the ever evolving and changing cosmos to go out and explore, are some of the features to be seen.

Currently due for release later this year on PC, for the first time a console based version has been announced, bringing the X Universe to an even greater audience than before.
