Virtual Reality, a boon to mankind a place where the soldier of tomorrow can be trained in safety. Not any more.

It was viewed as out best hope in case the aliens did invade. A VR system that would train the next generation of soldiers in the craft of combat. Now mothballed due to a critical flaw that appeared it was all but forgotten. Still it grew and mutated as the flaw became a deadly system ruled by a brutal self-aware program, now it is the time of the hackers who aim to take it offline once and for all.

Konami's first entry into the FPS arena, Coded Arms is shaping up to be one of the best titles to debut on Sony's PSP platform. With a taut storyline, spread over three different game world environments, filled with evil alien invaders, brutish security bots and a myriad array of other surprises. However with a staggering number of different ways to cause maiming and mayhem on the opposition each hackier is far from helpless.

As an added bonus in multi-player combat, to add a truly unique character to each avatar, they will be allowed to bring in objects and other surprises that they have found in single play.

Coded Arms is due for release sometime this Summer.
