Catch Twenty20
A googly has been sent down the pitch as Electronic Arts preps to release Cricket 2005.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2,Xbox,PC - UK and Europe

The County Cricket Season has begun once more and looming up ahead this year is the latest ashes contest between England and Australia. So it is only natural that Electronic Arts would produce what could be a serious challenger for the top of the order this year as its Cricket 2005 faces off at the other end of the pitch to the various rivals.

It will allow you to play Tests, One Day Internationals and the new Twenty20 format of the game. With a fully licensed England side, sides from South Africa, Australia and New Zealand and the option to crate your own unique cricketer. Also included are thousands of motion capture moves, thirty-five stadiums and commentary from Richie Benaud, EA hope to deliver a comprehensive experience. As Andrew Wilson, EA's Senior Producer in Canada.

"Cricket 2005 will be the benchmark for cricket games to come" He added "Not only does the game look spectacular, bowlers now have easy to access individual repertoires and batsman have far more control including the ability to dive into the crease to prevent an imminent run out."

Due out later this year.
