Call of Duty 2 (E3 2005)
Activision unveils Call of Duty 2 for the PC and Xbox 360 at the 2005 Electronics Entertainment Expo.
Posted by John Grothier - PC,Xbox - UK and Europe

Activision announced today that the company is currently in development on three titles and working closely with id Software on a fourth game for the Xbox 360. One of which is Call of Duty 2 also to be released for the PC.

Call of Duty 2 lets players experience four individual soldier stories as they overcome insurmountable odds in multiple campaigns. Players have the freedom to follow each of the four storylines through for the ultimate character-driven experience, or they can engage in the historic battles chronologically for quick hitting action.

"We are very excited about Xbox 360 which marks a revolutionary advancement over previous console systems," said Kathy Vrabeck, president, Activision Publishing. "The new platform will enable us to deliver the most powerful, realistic and innovative gaming experiences ever. All of the titles are being developed by our internal studios. One of the titles is based on a proven well-established property and two on our own original IP."
