Posted by John Grothier - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe The Getaway is back, and boy does it look stunning. Developed for the PS3 by Sony's Studios Soho, as you can see from the screenshots below, The Getaway is crammed full of detail of London's streets. Although just a technical demo for now, if the developers can get The Getaway on the PS3 to look as good as this, then we are all in for a real treat. The real time shots are from Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus and as you can see the screenshots show cars and people going about their daily business. It's worth noting that the screens show as wide variety of vehicles and a huge cross-section of pedestrians. While some sat and read from newspapers, others rushed around the busy London streets - as if they really had somewhere to go. Much more on The Getaway - as we get it.
