Based around what is billed as Next Generation Physics, TOCA3 is shaping up to be one of the best games of the genre to emerge in the next few years. The AI is also set for a boost, so allowing for greater challenges to you at an appropriate level, in addition there is the inclusion of real race rules and regulations for all elements of all variants of racing. You can qualify, make a pit stop, choose tyre strategies and enjoy the use of race flags in each and every one of the hundred different types of championship. The sound department has also been beefed up with the announcement that there will be about forty times the amount of audio as in TOCA2, twinned with the revamped graphics - utilising multi-layer, multi-textured surfaces, TOCA 3 is looking to be the next gen game for the current gen console.
