Saint it aint so?
Go for gold as you become one of the fabled twelve Knights of the Zodiac.

Eighteen years is one heck of a gap between one instalment of a series and the next, now fans of the slightly obscure Japanese anime Gold Saint Saga can rejoice once again as Bandai are gearing up to offer us Saint Seiya, Knights of the Zodiac: The Sanctuary.

Within it follows the exploits of Seiya the Pegasus Saint and the other eleven of the Zodiac Knights as they aid and protect the Goddess Athena in their attempt to destroy the two hundred year evil that threatens the cosmos. You will be able to play seventeen characters including all twelve of the Knights, including the Andromeda saint, Shun and the Phoenix Saint, Ikki, through the twelve destructible levels. Using Cosmo energy in careful bursts to win those one on one fights.

Naturally this version represents a humungous leap in style and substance since the original Super Famicom version that appeared nearly two decades ago now. The most stunning is set to be the way the Knights' gold armour reacts to the area and the ambient light, with reflections and shadings.

As yet there is no European release date but it is rumoured that there may be a DVD boxed set of the original series to tag along with the game itself.
