Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe It has been announced that Sony have acquired the rights to create an Online Massive Multiplayer Game based around the DC Universe of Superhero characters. Hailed as a step forwards in the reach of the DC Heroes, DC Publisher and President Paul Lavitz stated, "Expanding our fans' ability to participate in the DC universe through a great online game is a terrific step forward for DC Comics," he continued. "We look forward to working with our colleagues at Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and the talented folks at SOE." Further as part of the deal, Sony also acquired the rights to run the Matrix Online MMPOG from DC Comics' parent company, Warner Bros. Entertainment. It is expected that Superman, Batman et al will be on our HDD's in 2007. Chris Snook
