12th July 2005:
Day Terrors
There are things in the night that are whispered and hinted at, beings, creatures and shadows all crowding around. Waiting for you.
Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

The backdrop is a shadowed and shaded mansion deep in the Japan of the Heian period. A period and a place where mutated creatures amble along, horrors await and things are almost always what they seem, eventually.

Kuon is rooted firmly in the Kwaiden style of Japanese horror story, using vivid imagery and a breathtaking plot to convey the terrors that abound in a true psychological fashion. Children, drums and the silent ghostings of long gone inhabitants will reverberate as you play.

Packed with puzzles and mini-games, Kuon also is billed as the "Uncut and Uncensored" vision of it's director, crafted in the deep mysteries of Japan a thousand years ago and more. With dual language support, Dolby Pro-Logic II and swish three dimensional imagery as you battle in real time Demons whilst wielding magic, summoned creatures and more. All bathed in realistic lighting, shadows and effects to make your jaw drop.

Kuon is due out this September.
