Bubbling on up (DS)
It is dinosaurs at twenty pixels, as the arcades begin to invade the twenty-first century.

Bubble Bobble Revolution is the first of a string of updated titles to be prepped for the latest hand held game systems.

Those of you not old enough to remember it concerns the adventures of two dinosaurs, Bub and Bob through tortuously designed levels in order to rescue their girlfriends from a fate worse then caveman stew. it went on to spawn a whole range of sequels and related games. One of which Rainbow Islands is also due to be released on the Nintendo DS a month after BBR.

Gameplay is expected to be remarkably similar to the original, bounce around, catch enemies with bubbles, progress to the next level, avoiding the various pitfalls and traps set to capture you. This time however we can expect the use of the touch screen to come into play, full sue of both screens to deliver a true vertical level - without the scrolling of other versions - and bright vibrant graphics.

Bubble Bobble Revolution is due out this October.
