24th October 2002:
Breed and Imperium Galactica III delayed
Two of CDV's most anticipated titles have now been pushed back well into 2003.
Posted by Marc Hull - PC - UK and Europe

CDV today announced that they had revised the release dates for two of their eagerly awaited PC games, Breed and Imperium Galactica III. Despite being previously scheduled to launch before Christmas, both titles will now hit shop shelves no earlier than March next year. It is, however, not all doom and gloom, since the publisher promises that this extra time will be spent adding new features and general polish.

One of Imperium Galactica III's big suprises was the lack of any multiplayer options when its feature list was originally announced, however with the extra few months of development time the team hope to add a new multiplayer mode to extend the game's lifespan. Breed is being optimised to run better on the next generation of graphics cards, and will also now contain an option that will allow players to create their own missions and 'mods'. You'll also be able to get a taste of the game when a single-player demo is released before the end of the year.
