Zelda Delayed
Nintendo have announced today that the eagerly-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed until next year.
Posted by John Grothier - GameCube - UK and Europe

Nintendo have just announced the new that all GameCube owners did not want to hear - The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been delayed until next year.

"Our development team has decided to take extra time to add some incredible new elements to The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. As a result, the game will now launch in 2006 globally. We recognize there may be some disappointed fans, however we firmly believe this additional time will result in a much more enjoyable gaming experience. GameCube fans will have a variety of Nintendo games to choose from this Christmas, including Mario Smash Football, Battalion Wars, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness." Nintendo.

In this new Zelda title, Link must explore the vast land of Hyrule and uncover the mystery behind its plunge into darkness. As he does, he'll have to enlist the aid of friendly folk, solve puzzles and battle his way through dangerous dungeons. In the Twilight Realm, he'll have to use his wolf abilities and Midna's magic to bring light to the land.

Every cloud has a silver lining - and to prove that we have some new screens for you.
