Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox - UK and Europe After months of wrangling we shall hopefully in 2007 be able to follow once again the activities of everyone's super soldier - the Master Chief. In what is being hailed as a landmark deal between the Microsoft owned Bungie Studios and the movie makers of Fox and Universal and the creative might of screenwriter Alex Garland we can now look forwards to a movie based arounf Halo. As yet there is no director assigned to the project, Bungie apparently are looking for ""someone who's as committed to the Halo universe as Peter Jackson was to Tolkien's Middle-Earth" to take the helm and provide the vision they are looking for. Also there is no indication whether the film will encompass just the first game or both the released titles, whether it will be the first in a line of features or even if it would be stand alone. Time will tell. In addition, despite numerous attempts the Master Chief was unavailable for comment, word is that he is away dealing with another flooding problem somewhere.
