Do you want to do Launch?
The
PSP
looks well on track as retailers get all their stock! We give you the full list and all the final box art for all the games.

The PlayStation Portable is well on track for its debut on Thursday as retailers have received stock this morning. All of the retailers that Silicon Fusion spoke to had received every game that was ordered, and for most of them this was the full line up as they really don't know what will sell and what will be left on the shelf.
The idea of ordering every piece of software available for a format can really only take place on the launch day, and that seems to be quite the case with the PSP. Many stores will actually have more PSP stock on the shelf than Nintendo DS stock; simply because the launch line up is so bulky. With the initial line up featuring racing, puzzle, fighting and sports - there really is something for everyone.
Below is a list of all the games that will be available from your friendly neighbourhood games shop from Thursday:
Ape Academy
Colin McRae Rally 2005
Darkstalkers Chronicle The Chaos Tower
Dynasty Warriors
Everybody's Golf
F1 Grand Prix
Fired Up
Lumines
MediEvil Resurrection
Mercury
Metal Gear Acid
NBA Street Showdown
NFL Street 2 Unleashed
Need for Speed Underground Rivals
Ridge Racer
TOCA Race Driver 2
Virtua Tennis World Tour
Wipeout Pure
World Snooker Challenge 2005
World Tour Soccer
Some of these titles are actually taking their bow in Europe, suggesting that the launch is not simply a version of the American launch but with a 'PAL' stamp across it. We get
Colin McRae Rally 2005
and
Virtua Tennis World Tour
before the rest of the world; and our version of
Wipeout Pure
has many more features than the American and Japanese versions. Let us hope that these games are successful and serve as an encouragement for publishers to release in the UK first! Who knows, in a few years we may even get a console launched here
before
the Japanese and Americans have started selling them in antique shops.
