In a quick counter Electronic Arts have revealed their latest Soccer management Sim, with a nice shiny new name and a boosted interface.
FIFA Manager 06 is the only officially sanctioned management game due on the market, with enough statistics to warm the heart of a maths professor. To Kick off there are two thousand teams with a total of twenty thousand players between them, using the latest and most up to date stats around. All presented in a 3D view of the on pitch action and a cunningly crafted web style interface for the stats when off it.
There is an improved match analysis tool, allowing for in depth checking of things, including positional play, passes, runs on goal and a vast amount of other info, all at the disposal of a few clicks. Players will have styles, giving the option to select the correct combination for the formation you wish to play at that point, granting a hefty level of flexibility in play.
FIFA Manager is due out for PC on October 7th
