19th September 2005:
Reed about New York
Blood is thicker than water. Or is it when father and son clash over the Family Business.
Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox,GameCube,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

New York. The Big Apple, a sprawling metropolis of eight million or so souls, each with hopes, aspirations, fears and dreads. A place that is almost a microcosm of the human race, a place of extremes amongst the mundanity.

It is also where Marcus Reed, a repentant gangster who became a cop, lives. New York City. Where his father is a kingpin of the Drug industry and the place where Marcus' mentor died in a brutal fashion.

True Crime: New York City has a cast that most films would be envious of. From the recognisable tones of Christopher Walken and Laurence Fishburne through to Avery Waddell, who voices Marcus and former Adult Entertainment star, Traci Lords. All adding their talents to a solid tale, shaped by two former cops, including NYPD Blue Executive Producer Bill Clark. All to make the twists and turns of Marcus' use of his powers as a cop and sometimes abuse of them to slip from one undercover investigation to another, threading through a web of gangs, crooks his own past and the worst that the Five Boroughs can throw at him and anyone else it can find.

TC:NYC is due out later this Autumn.
