Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Suikoden V the latest of the long running series of combat adventure titles has had its debut to the world with the first three, blurry, screenshots released for our perusal. Set in the Kingdom of Fallena, Suikoden V follows the exploits of the young heir to the throne, the free-spirited Prince, who has spent all of his young life with barely a care in the world. A world where the female holds sway and where as the game begins he must temper his youthful ways and accompanied by his assistant, the master Swordswoman - Rionne - he must seek out his destiny. This is a different title to the recently announced Suikoden Tactics a battle based spin off from the series utilising the engine from the fourth game. Suikoden V is set for release sometime in the next year.
