Not the Fogg-iest
Four locales, four inventions, a bet and just 80 Days to do it all in. Start the fans please!
Posted by Chris Snook - PC - UK and Europe

Today it would be the basis of a Reality TV show but Jules Verne's Around the World in Eighty Days is a classic. Now there is 80 Days a 3D adventure title loosely based on the premise.

It is 1899 and Oliver Lavisheart's Uncle Matthew has laid a bet regarding four inventions of his and has dragooned the young Oliver into helping him prove that he is indeed the inventor. Since the inventions are in four great cities of the world, Oliver must duplicate the feat of his globetrotting predecessor, one Phileas Fogg and in less than three months, return with proof of said inventions or his and his Uncles reputations and finances will be ruined.

Along the way he will take on traps laid by the son of Inspector Fix, fool Samurai and drive the biggest airship in existence. Further as he delves deeper he will come to understand the true nature of the incredible bet, his family and even make Tartan the de rigour street fashion in Cairo, Bombay, Yokohama and San Francisco.

Due out next month.
