Posted by Marc Hull - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe Infogrames today announced Superman: Shadow of the Apokolips, a new action-adventure title for the PlayStation 2 which seems to follow closely in the footsteps of other superhero games such as Batman and Spiderman. Once again, cel-shading is being used in copious amounts to recreate a cartoony look on the characters, while the game worlds are basically textured to give the environment quite a unique look. Unfortunately, the French-based developers are keeping quite tight-lipped about the whole game, so until we can extract more information from them, you'll need to stare at these first screenshots to gather some initial clues about the gameplay and storyline.
