New Project Gotham 2 screens
Microsoft have released new screenshots from the eagerly awaited online sequel to Project Gotham Racing.

The original Project Gotham Racing was a fine example of how to do street racing well, with loads of challenges to be completed and hundreds of track combinations to race on. However, being based on Metropolis Street Racer for the Dreamcast meant that, although impressive, it didn't seem to push the Xbox in ways that other titles were. Fortunately, the sequel is being developed as a completely new, Xbox-exclusive game, which will not only feature far more detailed tracks than before, but will also support online play using Xbox Live! We can't wait to get our grubby mits on the game, but until the early 2004 release date draws closer we'll just have to stare at these new screenshots instead.
