Enter the Maelstrom
It is 2040 and the world is wrecked, the future is bleak and then the invaders arrive.

The world is dead or near as it can be, it is 2040 and a great ecological disaster has crushed what was civilisation. Humanity is now split between the Remnants - low tech resistance fighters led by an ex-US General and the Ascension - wielders of advanced technology and logical followers of their leader Arlan Khan. Then there are the Aliens, invaders - planet less and looking fr a new source of resources and a place to call home. All are plunged into the deeply dark strategy entwined Maelstrom.

Developed from an original story line from Codemasters, Maelstrom is hoping to skilfully blend strategy and third-person action seamlessly to allow for the greatest thrills possible in the varied, realistic and utterly destroyable environments that they will offer.

Due out this time next year for PC.
