Posted by Chris Snook - PlayStation 2,PC,Xbox,GameCube - UK and Europe GTA: San Andreas has picked up five of the main prizes at this years Golden Joystick Awards. One of which was prestigious Ultimate Game of the year award. It further grabbed the awards for best soundtrack and CJ picked up the Best Hero Award whilst his nemesis Officer Tenpenny, voiced by Samuel L. Jackson half-inched the Best Villains gong. To round things off it also snaffled the PS2 Game of the Year to boot. All this despite, or maybe because of the furore surrounding the 'Hot Coffee' mod for the PC version that allowed for hidden adult content to be unlocked and used. Sony also gained recognition for the PSP as one of the most innovative gadgets out there.
