A Blizzards roars and the Zerg once more begin to sweep forth destroying all in thier path.
Posted by Chris Snook - Xbox,GameCube,PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe

It has been a long time in development but now there is a slight chink of light to gladden the hearts of all lovers of the Zerg.

Indeed the latest progress on the eagerly awaited console versions of StarCraft: Ghost has been revealed at the first ever BlizzCon, developer Blizzards own showcase for what is coming up next.

To say the least since E3 earlier in the year they have been busy both polishing and tuning up the single player campaign, whilst also tweaking the multiplayer options to boot. Adding the Invasion scenario where you are pitted against others and have to capture key strategic words to gain resources to help crush your opponents, up to fifteen of them. Both XBox Live and BattleNet will be supported.

The graphics look to have been refined further and four new Zerg units have been introduced for your delectation, all for use in the multiplayer games, still no word on a release date but it looks like the Blizzard bods want to get things right.
