Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb
The original action-adventurer is back, in a brand new epic adventure for the Xbox.

With strong rumours circulating of another Indiana Jones film staring the slightly mature Harrison Ford, LucasArts are now giving Xbox owners a chance to become the perennial action hero in a brand new adventure from The Collective - the people behind the excellent Buffy the Vampire Slayer. From the crocodile-infested waters in Ceylon, to the ever bustling streets of Hong Kong, Indy will need his wits, agility, whip lashing and hand-to-hand combat skills if he is to find the secret of the Emperor's Tomb.
In this new adventure Indy will be able to brawl, in addition to using his trademark whip and pistol. Fierce hand-to-hand combat can be used against enemies, some of whom are apparently well versed in martial arts. Indy will also be able to pick up and use improvised weapons such as shovels, chairs and table legs to fend off his foes. If the fighting system in Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb is anything like the one used in Buffy the Vampire Slayer then we are in for a real treat!
Spine-tingling movie-like action sequences will also feature heavily in the game, including a rickshaw chase in Hong Kong and a spectacular battle atop moving gondolas in the South China Sea. Indy's adventure takes place across ten levels, which are all set in unique exotic locations, which include a 15th century castle that looms over Prague, an underwater palace in Istanbul, and a mountaintop fortress in China.
Set in the Far East in 1935, a powerful underground Asian society called known as the Black Dragon, and a horrible German mercenary, Albrecht Von Beck, have formed and unholy alliance in the hopes of acquiring the elusive Heart of the Dragon - a black pearl that gives its possessor the power to mould minds. This evil relic is rumoured to be buried in the crypt of China's first emperor, hidden for over two thousand years. Now it's up to Indy to try to prevent the Heart of the Dragon from falling into the wrong hands.
Silicon Fusion will be featuring more on this exciting title soon - but in the mean time enjoy the new screens!
