Everyone knows that Microsoft has a fairly hefty advertising budget, especially since the Xbox branding ads that seemed to run for ages around the console's launch, and today they demonstrated it yet again by sponsoring Robbie Williams' European tour, which kicks off during June next year. The deal will mean that Xbox demo pods shall appear at select venues during the eight-country tour, allowing fans to play the latest Xbox games before each show and during the interval. Also, Germany will get an exclusive Robbie Williams DVD, featuring unreleased tracks, B sides and footage from his latest album, included free with every Xbox DVD Controller. "I'm really glad Xbox is partnering us for my new tour," said Robbie Williams. "I love playing Xbox at home, and now I get to play it every night! I'm looking forward to seeing all my fans having fun with Xbox at the shows. See you there!"
