Posted by Marc Hull - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe When the first screenshots of Lamborghini were leaked to the press many months ago, they looked pretty good, and after seeing it in motion at ECTS I walked away pretty quite impressed, but if these new images are anything to go by then the game has made leaps and bounds over its former self, and could well challenge GT3 in the graphics department. Sound too good to be true? Then check out the new shots below and see for yourself. The game uses all kinds of effects such as motion blur and depth focusing to create that same level of polish that no-one other than Polyphony Digital have managed to accomplish. The cars themselves are super-smooth, highly detailed and seem to have realistic reflections, while the tracks contain nice shadow effects and some cool-looking trees. Whether or not the game will get close to GT3's greatness in other departments remains to be seen, but if the final product looks anywhere near as good as these screenshots make out, it'll be a true visual feast.
