'Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker' perfect?
Legend of Zelda reviewed... in Japan.
Posted by John Wasabi - GameCube - UK and Europe

Looks like 2003 cannot come soon enough for Europe. Famitsu, a leading and well-respected multi-format magazine in Japan has just given a perfect score to 'Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker.'

The previous two games on the Nintendo 64 are frequently cited among the greatest games ever conceived, so lets hope the Gamecube version lives up to its predecessors. The story follows Link in his younger days as he attempts to rescue his kidnapped sister.

With the cel-shaded look Nintendo believe that Link's facial expressions can convey a wide range of emotions in real time giving players the feeling that they are living in and interacting with an animated world. Only 4 other games in Famitsu's history has ever achieved this accolade so it will be interesting to see if Europe will welcome Link in his cel-shaded form next year.
