Lamborghini is a new racing game from Rage in which players get to join the "Lamborghini Millionaire's Club" and race very fast cars in a variety of exotic locations around the world. The title is being developed simultaneously across PS2, Xbox and GameCube, although screenshots from each version suggest that the PS2 and Xbox versions are being worked on separately, rather than one being developed and then ported to the other platform. In fact, when we last saw the game in action at ECTS earlier this year, it was the PS2 version that was looking the most impressive, with smooth cars and great reflection effects. However, with these newly released screens we can see that the Xbox version is beginning to catch it up with some neat lighting effects of its own. Just check out the shadows in some of the later shots, which actually map over the bodywork of each car, and the raindrop effect on the screen in one of the images.
We're certainly looking forward to both versions of the game, which are currently scheduled to hit European shelves next year, but until then we'll keep bringing you the latest news on the game as we get it.
