29th December 2002:
Shinobi coming to Game Boy Advance
Check out the first screenshots of this revived Sega franchise on Game Boy Advance!
Posted by Marc Hull - Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe

The Shinobi games on the Megadrive were a cross between a fighting game and a platfomer, providing the action that made the Streets of Rage games so successful along with some pixel-perfect platforming that made them one of Sega's top franchises back then. However, after the 16-bit era died, it soon joined many of their other franchises that were never revived, until now. With a new Shinobi game already well on the way for the PlayStation 2, Sega are set on bringing it back into the limelight, and what better a way to do that than to bring the old classics back on the Game Boy Advance?

Revenge of Shinobi, the second game in the series, is the first title to be ported to Nintendo's nifty handheld, and will be released by Infogrames over here during Spring 2003. We have little in the way of information about the game, but expect it to be a perfect port of the original Megadrive game (with the possibility of a few new extras). We should have some more details soon, but in the meantime why not check out the first screenshots from the game below.
