Forget the Final Fantasies, this series is one of the true pioneers. Posted by John Wasabi - Game Boy Advance - UK and Europe Sega must be getting plenty of fan mails as they sure are showing their appreciation by re-releasing some of their finest games again. Ahh, give me a sec while the nostalgia whacks me right between the eyes. One things for sure, retro gaming and retro gamers are here to stay and I bet they all own a GBA. I never played Phantasy Star 1 when it was released on the Sega Master System, but I hear it was one heck of an amazing RPG experience. I was fortunate enough to bag myself a Sega Megadrive/Genesis later on and found Phantasy Star 2 to be one of the most engrossing and amazing RPG's at that time. It is a game I will always hold close to my heart and if I am not mistaken lost my RPG virginity to. With the release of Phantasy Star Collection drawing close I cannot help but feel like an old girlfriend is about to visit with her good looking sister tagging along for me to oogle at. Excuse the analogy, I am not a freak, I am just very excited that one of my favourite RPG's back in the day is about to be released again. Way to go Sega and thank you Infogrames for bringing it to Europe as Q1 2003 cannot come soon enough.
