Codemasters invite you to take part in the fastest and most intense racing game ever!

Take part in the famous US open-wheel championship which promises blisteringly fast, nerve-shatteringly intense professional racing, in the Indy Racing League. Set for release on the Xbox this coming spring, Indy Racing League will feature a staggering 33 cars racing on the track, as you hurtle round the superspeedways at an astounding 200+ mph.

Indy Racing League will feature the entire Indy Racing season, which includes the famous Indianapolis 500 race, which some call 'The Greatest Spectacle in Racing'. The season is an open-wheeled championship on short ovals and those superspeedways, with tracks throughout the US, including California and Texas. The Indy cars themselves are very similar to our own F1, but these are powered by 3.5-litre V8 engines, which means some fast and furious racing, as the Indy cars can reach 100mph is less that three seconds!

Expect immediate high-paced racing action, authentic handling and some spectacular collisions in the spring, but in the mean time enjoy these first batch of screenshots!
