Sonic Adventure to appear on GameCube
Sonic Team has announced that they are porting Sonic's original 3D outing to the GameCube, with the possibility of added extras.
Posted by Marc Hull - GameCube - UK and Europe

The original Sonic Adventure is argued by many Sonic fans to be the better of the two next-generation games, with the multiple stories and non-linear structure preferred to the two-quest concept of the sequel. So, it's a good thing for Nintendo lovers that Sonic Team have announced a GameCube port of the original title, with possibly some extras to try to intice those who already have the Dreamcast version. To reflect these (currently unknown) additions, the game will be called Sonic Adventure DX, and will likely feature some interaction with Sonic Advance 2 on the Game Boy Advance.

We were lucky enough to get our hands on some early screens from the GameCube port of the game and, although the shots are quite small, it's pretty safe to assume that it will be graphically identical to the Dreamcast game. The real question on people's lips is what extras will be included, but unfortunately Sonic Team are being quite secretive about that at the moment. However, with a hidden Game Boy Advance version of NiGHTs, one of their most famous Saturn titles, tucked away inside their other recent GameCube release (Phantasy Star Online) we can only hope for similar goodies in Sonic Adventure DX!
