24th January 2003:
Breed
We have been following Breed for a while now, it wowed us at ECTS and deservedly scooped 'Best PC Game of Show 2002'. Check out these new screenshots to see why.

When we first saw Breed, our first impressions were 'Halo clone' or 'Something replicating Halo'. Yes they share the same theme of futuristic Sci-Fi First Person Shooter but thats just cosmetic. We got a chance to play it at ECTS last year and what we found was something far more ambitious than we imagined.

What was most noticeable was the sheer variety of vehicles available to control. We are talking about Dropships, APCs, Tanks, Jeeps, Giant Robo-suits, Space crafts, Drop pods, heck the list goes on... Other impressive features are the ability to travel from Space to Earth and vice versa allowing combat to transcend in areas unseen on other First-person shooters. Breed was featured on nVidia's stand at ECTS so does this mean it is integrating specific graphic features for its new FX card? We certainly hope so as Breed is one of the better looking games of 2003 and making it even prettier than it already is, will be an added bonus.

I can ramble on about Breed, but I'll spare you the agony so that you can enjoy these new screenshots. Do stay tuned as we prepare for a full Preview and updated feature list in the coming weeks.
