Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven might be just the game to make that wish come true. Posted by John Wasabi - PlayStation 2 - UK and Europe The newest installation in the acclaimed stealth ninja series, Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven promises to delivers the most realistic, stealth-based, ninja-action/adventure game ever. Coming to the PlayStation 2 sometime in March, Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven features impressive new stealth attacks, an enhanced fighting engine, new weapons and tools, larger levels, improved character animations and new multiplayer options. Set one year after the events of the original Tenchu game, Tenchu 3: Wrath of Heaven allows players to reprise their role as Rikimaru or as two other characters. As in the first two games, players must use cunning and strategy to prowl rooftops and overcome daunting odds with deadly stealth attacks. As a Ninja, players will engage in espionage, theft and assassination and exploration. Some of the most notable changes include multiple game endings based on earlier decisions made previously. The graphics are gorgeous with vibrant levels with detailed lighting and weather effects as well as improved character animations. The one feature that does seem to stand out above the rest is the inclusion of a multiplayer option where you and a friend can go at it co-op or deathmatch. In the mean time, I shall dig up my Sho Kosugi ninja flicks to keep me occupied.
