With not one, but two Matrix films to be released this year, Infogrames are set to publish an all-new action adventure titled Enter the Matrix. Developed by Shiny Entertainment, Enter the Matrix is the story-within-the-story and will feature awesome gunplay and spectacular martial arts, as well as some truly insane driving and stunts that bend the rules of the Matrix. Enter the Matrix is being developed under the creative direction of the orginal filmakers of The Matrix, Larry and Andy Wachowski. The Wachowski brothers are responsible for the game's story and script, and they also collaborated on all the game design elements as well as the action moments, to ensure true Matrix style. The brothers have also shot some new 35mm film footage for the game with the same actors, sets, costumes and effects used in the new Matrix film; The Matrix Reloaded.
The game will feature some incredible Kung Fu, which is directed by the Matrix fight scene choreographer Yuen Wo Ping. Car chases and stunts feature that will defy our understanding of the laws of physics and 'Bullet Time' will make a very welcome appearance. Players will take on the Agents in some memorable action sequences and get a chance to pilot the Logos, the fastest hovercraft in the Zion fleet.
